Building constituencies

Organizations working for the same community must work together to shape the environment. A forum offers a space for such organizations to come together.

ALC India can facilitate forums where organizations with common interests can come together, evolve an agenda and pursue it effectively.


Policy impact studies

Decision makers introduce changes in policy based on various factors – ideology, representations and consultations. These policies impact or ignore marginalized communities, often making their livelihoods even more challenging.

ALC India can evaluate policies for their potential impact as well as impact on the ground to identify how a policy is impacting a stakeholder community. This delivers the data, information and insights stakeholders need to engage with policy makers.


Sector studies

Understanding communities and working with them requires a sound understanding of the sectors the communities operate in. Laws and policies governing the sector impact the communities directly and with great significance.

ALC India offers thorough quantitative and qualitative studies of sectors, identifying aspects that work for and against economically marginalized communities. This arms stakeholders to intervene in a better-informed manner.

From defining the cause to promoting it to the right constituency and furthering the cause, a campaign has many elements that must fall in place.
